SprachCafé Polnisch is open to everyone: Individuals, families, and friends from all backgrounds.
While many of our events are held in Polish, you do not need to speak Polish to visit. We also offer events in other languages, primarily German and English. Everyone interested in cultural exchange, community connection, or simply enjoying a welcoming atmosphere is warmly invited to join us.❤️At present, unfortunately, none of our locations are fully accessible for wheelchair users or pushchairs due to structural limitations of the buildings.

Yes, our cosy, welcoming space in Pankow is available for meetings, events, and gatherings. It’s a community-centred environment that encourages conversation, connection, and creativity. Funds from every rental directly support the café and our community programmes, helping us continue our non-profit work.

You can join activities such as our language exchange evenings (Speak Dating), take part in community events, and connect with others through meaningful conversations.View the adults’ events calendar.
We currently offer two Polish language courses:
▪️Polish as a foreign language for adults (A1 & A2) ▪️Polish Café Online Beyond these programmes, there are many opportunities to practise your Polish in a relaxed and supportive environment during our in-person events. We also offer a variety of events for children to learn Polish as a heritage language. You can find details in our children’s calendar.We warmly welcome your ideas for collaboration. Absolutely! You can volunteer with us either on a casual basis or as part of the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) programme.
We’re always looking for people who want to share their skills and get involved with our activities. Volunteering with us is also a wonderful opportunity for you to gain valuable experience, meet new people, practise languages, and support the local community.
