Sprachcafé im Ohr – Summary
The three-year period from 2023 to 2025 of the “SprachCafé im Ohr” offered free services in 14 languages for multilingual families, educators, and community leaders:
🔅 1,200 telephone consultations on multilingual child-rearing
🔅 30 multilingual family cafés for language communities
🔅 10 training sessions for the international project team
Highlights included:
– Active participation in the annual Berlin-wide “Family Night”
– Presence at Germany’s largest language fair, “EXPOLINGUA,” in 2025
– The expansion of project activities in 2024 to include, among other things, the multilingual communication game “Speak-Dating”
